This is our lovely 2000 X registered LDV 400 LWB 2/3 berth camper van which is registered as a motorhome on the logbook.

It has a Ford Transit 2.5 litre diesel 'Banana' engine with only a low 125,000 miles from new with lots of service history.

Starts first click in all weathers and drives very nicely. The power steering is light and makes for a very easy drive. Tyres, brakes, gearbox, suspension and steering etc. are perfect as is the underneath and bodywork. As with many older diesels, there is a small amount of smoke on initial start up but soon clears when warm.

It has been fully serviced with new oil change, filters etc. and a recent cambelt and clutch fitted, so reliability is assured. The van is smooth, reliable and surprisingly economical, returning over 35MPG if driven carefully.

Inside it has been converted to a very high standard with a clean, modern feel. The seating area is newly upholstered and converts into a huge and very comfortable queen sized bed along the length of the van.

The kitchen worktop is spacious and has a 3 ring gas hob and grill, sink with hot and cold running water supplied via a plumbed in on board water tank, water pump and under seat water heater. There is a three-way fridge and also a gas heater.

There is a rear washroom with shower, sink with hot and cold water and a modern cassette toilet.

The van is fully carpeted and thoroughly insulated with a gas heating system making it very warm and cosy. There are new curtains fitted and privacy glass in the side windows of the van which adds to security. It has plenty of under seat storage, over cab and kitchen storage with a wardrobe and secret cubby holes. There are plenty of 12v internal lights and 240v power sockets.

There are 2 new leisure batteries which charge via a roof mounted solar charge system with electronic regulator, as well as 240v hook up. A long 240v hook up lead and gas bottle are supplied. There are also 2 main batteries under the bonnet. Also included is a drive away awning and satellite finder with internal TV aerial socket.

The cab is clean and comfortable with a bench passenger seat and three seat belts also a very nice stereo cd player with extra speakers in the rear of the van.

Overall, this is a very nice, comfortable and spacious 2/3 berth camper conversion with the benefit of having a modern feel and shower room.

With Tax and 10 months MOT it is completely ready to go.
